Gran turismo? er… no.

Hedgehog crashed his car yesterday… very scary, and very lucky no-one was seriously hurt. I'm only glad I wasn't in his car at the time. I'mSorry got a gash in the side of his head from the wing mirror, which broke off and went through the window. It cut very close to his eye. The front of the car had two fence posts stuck in it.

And the cause of the accident? Well no-one can really be blamed except Hedgehog. He tried to overtake Bobbins on a corner, while doing 70 mph… they're lucky no-one was coming the other way. As it was, they went straight off the road, through a gate, and into a field, something broke the braking cable so they couldn't stop, and went carreering through the field, picking up fenceposts on the way.

Stupid macho contests. Do they think they're in a computer game? Alcohol wasn't involved either, which is a good thing but in a way reflects on Hedgehog worse, that he made a decision like that while sober.

I'm really glad he and everyone else is ok though. You have to feel sorry for him, despite the fact that it was his fault. His car's been written off… he was hysterical for 5 mins after the crash apparently, "What am I going to do? What am I going to do? My dad's goingtofuckingKILLme!"
He took the experience worse than anyone else, and was flipping out so much that no-one felt like holding the accident against him. BigDave, who had been in the back seat, gave him a hug.

Idiot behaviour like this really makes me scared for my friends. A teenage girl from round here died in a car accident just a month ago… another young guy is in a critical condition in hospital this week, for the same reason.

I hope all of them take this as a warning, and are fucking careful in future.

I also hope that Hedgehog's dad was more grateful to see him alive than ready to kill him. I don't trust Hedgehog's dad. He strikes me as being more of a child than Hedgehog himself at times.

Hedgehog is already trying to talk his way out of his bad choices. "If I hadn't kept control of the car, we could have crashed into something really bad in the field…" The amount of bullshit he can talk is incredible. In control of the car? Dude, it had two fence posts stuck in the bonnet. I've seen pictures. But then, Hedgehog is a compulsive liar when placed in a tight corner. Everyone is well used to such things from him. And it only comes from guilt. He's such a headcase.
